Isfahan named as permanent host for Children, Youth filmfest

The Iranian city of Isfahan selected as the permanent host of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth.

Reported by the media, the mayor of Isfahan and the executive manager of Farabi Cinema Foundation signed MoU to announce Isfahan as the permanent base of the event.

The International Film Festival for Children and Youth is aimed at discovering and developing children’s talents in arts and cinema. Children and youth as well as professional filmmakers are encouraged to attend the festival.

The IFFCY spurs filmmakers to understand children’s delicate world and engage children in the professional world of cinema.

The festival is jointly organized by the Farabi Cinema Foundation, Municipality of Isfahan and Iran Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs.

The 31st edition of the event is slated for August 30- September 5, 2018.
